If not, is it possible at all to implament? eg, each band in the halo blend texture could have its own texture channel. If u still dont know what im talking about, i'll dig up a...

My friend, that is already possible in blender. Get the plugin here: http://www-users.cs.umn.edu/~mein/blender/plugins/sequence.html Read the how-to's over there to learn how to use them. In case your wondering......its the one called glow plugin. Theres afterglow for different colours of glow....bu...

About ZBLUR plugin:Guassian

I was just wondering about the zblur plugin a minute ago. Zblur uses gaussian blur to process the effect right? I was just thinking if it was somehow possible to replace that filter with, say, the lens blur filter method (i was playing with Photoshop CS the other day). Not exactly a request, i dont ...

on top of that, zblur uses Gaussian blur in conjunction with the z-buffer render pass. Also theres that effect that sorta looks like lense flares when light sources are blurred. Its got this wierd long name to it, i cant seem to google it out. Still, Im satisfied with zblur. While still not accurate...

First of all, the toon shader is *not* cool. In fact, it's downright primitive. The cool rendering people are getting with it amaze me, because the shader is very limited. I should know: I wrote it! Secondly, for my thoughts on the edge rendering system, go here: http://www.blender.org/modules.php?...

So im guessing you haven't held an Ngage in your hands yet? You have seen the Gamegear, no? Its like that, only a bit smaller (the phone itself, not the screen). Screen isnt that small. Saw Pandamonium running on it. Didnt get to play it coz some kid was hogging the display model. It wasnt bad. You ...

Better Edge Draw?

I dont know if its in the works already, but since we have a cool toon shader, would it be feasable to be able to get a better edge draw in Blender? Also with different stroke brushes (edge line type). I would imagine something like maybe a per material basis with edge buttons on/off toggle and/or i...

ZBLUR in 2.28

I didnt exactly know where to post this, but here goes... It was pointed out by someone at Elysiun that Zblur doesnt work in 2.28 (as I am to understand that all if not most scripts/plugins should work there because of the new api?) I thought...no, it might just be their setup....you I tried it, and...

I found an example file that shows how to light an object using a gradient texture and the angle of the surface to do a cool fake lighting, shading thingy.
OR...you could use 2.28 or Tuhopuu that use real lights and shadows.
