use the function "mixdown" to export all used soundfiles into a single one. You will need however an external program to combine video/audio. I suggest you use VirtualDub, works pretty straight forward.

maybe you have some sort of trojan, spyware or else "malware" on your PC, which redirects you to some other sites. since the site works and is reachable, I would think that rather your PC got hacked. did you try a anti-virus check?

Action constraint for whole armature

After playing around with the action constraint - very useful indeed - i have one major wish: being able to apply it at object level to the whole armature. it would save time, where i need the constraint to be applied to every affected bone. I know i can copy the constraints, but making changes requ...

I remember something similar posted on the orange blog, however it was related to OS X and rendering. But may be it is helpful, read here:

there is a blender version for PDAs, which don't have a hardware keyboard either. Maybe this will give you some hints how to operate blender on the TPC.

Just a hint: "P" doesn't start a "Python mode", but the game engine. I would say it stays for "P"lay :)

Proposal: SVG as image texture/ preserve UVs...

Actually two different things, but came in my mind (again) in the same project. 1-Vector images as textures. The advantages are obvious - resolution independent, animations possible, maybe even a scripting functionality could be implemented? The choice of SVG is a logical step, but i could also imag...

Render preview (Shift+P) speedup

Right now moving/resizing the preview render panel triggers a complete re-render. How about saving the already rendered image in a buffer, calculating the new area after move/resize and only render the new parts, which in mosst cases are much smaller than the whole preview area? In case you decrease...

armatures allow you to deform a single, seamless mesh. when you use only discrete meshes, say for torso, arms, legs, you will always see that your character consists of several objects. good for robots, bad for people :)

not sure if I fully understand what you mean, but it sounds doable. you'll have to implement a python script that reads your data source file and generates objects according to this input. you might wanna check out a recent Python documentation for the Game Engine.

ok, here is the solution: you were in edit mode and deleted all vertices, edges and polys. still, there is the "object". think of it a as container for the actual mesh data. it can be empty, and this is your case. to delete a whole object, tab out of edit mode and press "Del" or "X". so it also make...

1.: you can use the "knife" tool (key "K").
2.: blender currently doesn't support other than 3- or 4-sided polygons.

So, unless your action won't produce 5-sided polys, you'll be happy with the knife tool. blender makes tris, where the result doesn't give you quads.

best regards,

I propose - unless this isn't patented by former ALIAS, too (like marking menus) to have simply a shortcut for "last command". Believe me, a real timesaver.
