Bluescreen plugin

Once upon a time there was a bluescreen plugin for the blender sequencer. Does anyone still have it, or know where I can obtain it? I have run into a hacker who needs to look at it in the interests of developing it into a full fledged keyer for the sequencer.

Controlling multiple lights?

One thing that would be HIGHLY useful (and I can't believe no one's thought of it yet) would be a scheme to control groups of lights, a'la a track-lighting switch. Shouldn't be too difficult, just allow lights parented to a control light inheret all its settings, or something similar. It would drast...

Where should I put libvorbis.so.0 - tuhopuu isn't finding it even though it's in the path. I have it in /usr/lib/ right now - where should it be?

I don't know, support for this would be a VERY good thing to integrate ASAP. Robin Rowe, the maintainer of FilmGIMP, has recently announced that GIMP will support this image format in the next official release, due in the next week or two. With GIMP supporting it on one end for texture authoring, ha...

Sounds like it's your first brush with an open source project. :) I think you'll find that most projects of this nature take a while to ramp up and hit their stride, but once they do hit their stride they're release cycles are very quick (like Blender's was a year ago when they had a team of coders ...

BOB is the Blender Operations Balancer, and was the first network rendering broker for Blender. I have no idea if it's still around or still being maintained - I haven't used it myself in about a year due to the problem I outlined above (I do a lot of particle and procedural work). It was essentiall...

Question on this thing: In blender, using BOB, I would get wonderful network renders on anything that wasn't procedural. Anything that was: Particles, animated textures, etc. would render differently on different machines, resulting in skips when the animation was reassembled. Is this something that...

You should pick up the GNU Cross Compiler (GCC) available at gnu.org. If you're running linux, it's included in all distributions by default.

Qcad is a pretty decent Open Source AutoCAD clone. There are actually quite a few others - CAD programs have always been open source for the most part. There are a few that are proprietary, but many more that are open.

I've had a lot of luck with Qcad.

What would be involved in adding proper sound support to the video editor? It might very well be worth setting up a sub-project for this. Ton, are you listening? :)

I'd be very interested in being involved in this. Anyone else?
