BUG IN 2.42 RC2

This is a report of a wierd bug in 2.42 RC2. My mom didn't want me to create an account on the official bug tracker(go figure), so I decided to report it here instead. I started up blender, instead of the usual cube, camera, etc...the 3d window was completly empty(except for the widgets and cursor),...

Yea!
I have thought many times about all the different ipo curves you could use for particles in blender...if it had them. An ipo for the normal, random, force(xyz), etc... has anybody suggested these?

I had this same exact problem, except on 16 bit mode. Our computer is kind of old and blender had many bugs/glitches until I put it into 24 bit mode. One of the most annoying glitches was every couple of seconds, all the buttons and stuff disappeared(except the text on buttons and stuff). So I guess...

By the way, the other .dll file that I ended up needing was the SDL.dll file.

Thanks! I forgot that button was there. However, the standalone will not run. (something about python24.dll not found).

Sorry about the post. I found out that this was only the developers forum a while after I wrote this. :(

The only thing that i can think of would be the "remove doubles" feature. Just position the two vertices you wish to connect as close together as possible, then select all the vertices you wish to join and press "w". From the menu that pops down you can click on where it says "remove doubles" and if...

I agree with advs89. We have a slow computer, and it would save me a LOT
of render time if frames where nothing moved could be reused.

Just my opinion. :)

Standalone with game engine

I know there is a way, but can somebody tell me how to compile games made in blender to a standalone executable? Do you use python?
thanks!

P.s. Sorry if i am repeating a question asked by somebody else at some time or another.

It's so angering!!! I had a Huge reply all typed up and just pressed the submit button...and our computer froze. Goodbye, reply! Well first, if the camera was the last selected object then try pressing alt+g. This will clear your cameras position and put it back at the center of the grid. Or, if you...
