Topic: What do I do with the Blender book when I have Blender 2.37a

I've said it before but the book seems to compete with online docs, with the latter always losing out. I think this is BAD for blender and the whole idea of generating funding via the book should be re-thought. My suggestion: generate the book from online doc's for those who want dead-tree products ...

Just got a brand new Medion for £25 !!! Apart from the price I was attracted by the 512 level presure sensitivity. I'm no expert on tablets but I would say price, size and pressure are pretty important. I'm also no "artist" but in my quick test of the tablet with the GIMP (just yesterday) the whole ...

Unless things have changed since a year or so ago then working off the .blend file format is advised against. I think Ton et al wanted to avoid committing to a particular .blend format while heaps of new features are being added (and continue to). Better to export to common format or use your own (a...

Learn Python and u can tailor the export to our exact needs. It's not that difficult and there is plenty of help to be found on this forum, Elysuin(?) and elsewhere. Of course if you are using a lib that will read a specific format then look for a Blender export that supports it (or make a request a...
