Topic: Multi select in the Outliner not working?

Thanks but this was solved long ago and I should have posted to that effect. The problem seems to have been with the particular build I was using at the time, solved by downloading a SVN build a couple of days later.
Sorry I didn't close this earlier but ill health has kept me distracted.

I've just gone through the process and everything seems to be cool. I'm using Windows so the steps might be slightly different if you're using another OS. Go to the webpage with the code. Highlight all the text and copy it (CTRL C) Open a simple text editor (Notepad on Windows) and paste in the copi...

In the 5 steps you've outlined there's no mention of applying the texture to the UV coordinates, which is done through the Vector field on the Materials panel. Any help?

Hit the N key, another panel will pop up on the right of the screen. Then, with the curve selected, TAB into edit mode and look to the new panel and you should find what you're looking for.

I'm not too familiar with the game engine but, unless things work differently there, this is usually done by selecting the Camera and altering the Clipping value in the Object Data tab in the Properties panel. Sorry if you knew that already and things are different in the game engine.

Things can sometimes get a bit screwed with the mirror modifier if you've made transformations to the object while in Object mode. Hit Ctrl A and a pop-up will appear, allowing you to Apply any scaling, translation or rotation to the object data.

This sounds like a global/local space problem. Open the Object properties panel, scroll down to Display and check the Axis tick box. You should now see the Local axis of the bones displayed in the 3D view. All rotations of bones while in Pose mode take place around the bone's Local axis. Does that h...

er...the 0.08 was a mistake on my part and you're correct, the filters don't go below 0.1. Sorry about that. It has occurred to me that the problem might be with antialiasing on the the textures. The blend that gave me trouble was using an image map to put the characters on a model of a QWERTY keybo...

Hello again Sorry my suggestions didn't work for you. I've just taken a look at the blend file that initially caused the problem for me and the important factor seems to have been the Fields setting. All I can suggest now is that you replicate the texture settings that worked for me and see what hap...

Hi there

I had a similar a problem but solved it by switching on Premultiply and Fields in the Texture properties panel, setting the Fields to Upper First. I have absolutely no idea what either of these functions do but it worked for me, hope it does the same for you.

The only time I see (or don't see!) this this kind of thing is when hitting the H key (HIDE) instead of the G key (GRAB). Sorry if this reply is treating you like a noob (nothing wrong with being a noob- we all have to start somewhere) but are you sure your problem isn't caused by something that sim...

If you're using 2.58 or 2.59 you can use the Loop Tools add-on. I think this is on by default in 2.59, if not switch it on from User Preferences/Add-Ons/Mesh/Loop Tools. Then, with both loops selected, hit T to bring up the tool shelf, scroll down until you see the Loop Tools option and choose Bridge.

I'm replying to my own post here but I have found a way around the problem and hopefully it'll work for Andrew15 as well. In the Outliner right-click over the object to be selected and choose Select from the pop-up menu, repeat for all the objects you want to select.

While in Edit mode look to the toolbar, just to the right of the buttons for selecting point, vertex or face is another button with 2 squares on it. Click on that and your problem is solved.
