Rigging Drivers in 2.8 don't seem to be working

I have been trying to built a Rigg in Blender 2.8 using Rigging Drivers and I can't get them to respond... (as I have in previous Blender versions) has something changed in 2.8 that would prevent them from working? I noted that a "Autorun disabled" error message comes up when I try to build a driver...

Seems I saw a Video tutorial on YouTube some time ago that used Particals to do something simular... I can't seem to find it right off but I know it was Blender 2.5 or so... Also you might try BlenderDiplom has lots of good Modifier tutorials... Also post this quesiton to Blender Artist.org as there...

a few Answers but not all .... 1. when you say UDK I assume your talking about a game engine of some kind... I'm not much of a game engine guy so I'm not sure i can answer you properly but... "Do all vehicle animations have to be based on armatures and action animation" No... you can Animate Objects...

I suggest you post a Blend file ... I also suggest you also post this at the Blender Artist Site in the Animation and Rigging section... there seems to be more Riggers that frequent there for some reason... but if you can post a blend file so I can open it up and inspect... it probably wont take lon...

Yes... you can... An easy way to scale an entire Armature is to create a Root bone and parent the entire Armature to that Root bone... then simply scale the Root bone... the rest of the bones should scale with it (unless they are set not to do so... ) (see options under Properties > Bone > Relations...

Okay... first goto Edit mode and disconnect the Piston from the rest of the Hierarchy... that is goto Properties Panel > Bone (bone icon) > Relations > Parent > Select what ever is in the text field and delete and hit return... It should not be parented to anything... (maybe an engine block root bon...

[/quote] If your wheel is built from many separate objects... then yes you should parent them all to one object (preferably an 'Empty' object) and then animate the rotation of that Object... also... Blender as well ...

1. No you do not have to join the two objects to have them parented to the same Rigg...

Select the one object and the Rigg and Ctrl+P and select your options...

then....

Select the Second object then the Rigg and Ctrl+P and select your options...
