Kinect seems like a solution, but it would require me to buy one and more programmer knowledge, that I do not have. I have a wiimote, if there is a chance to be used. http://www.blender.org/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif I meant that I would have to learn much more about programming AND I would...

reporting the last researches, hope it helps someone in future or helps someone to help me now! I discovered pure data. Its nice because it works on linux, unlike eyesweb, and it seems to have been used connecting wiimote and blender more often then eyesweb. It seems you need to install "cwiid", htt...

Well... I'm am no programmer as I said. I am finishing visual arts graduation and I'm trying to find some solution more directed to people like me. After some long search I found the eyeweb software. http://www.infomus.org/eyesweb_eng.php It has a visual programming interface and it uses a library i...

Thanks. OpenCV looks like a good way, its been a headache to install it anyway. I'm no programmer and it asks for C/C++, compilation and all stuff. But I'm reading it all and trying to understand. I would not need exactly a facial tracking. Something closer to an object tracking seems more like it. ...

Tracking people location in a room

Hello everyone. I'm trying to make an instalation with blender. For that I need to track people location in a room, a flat location with x and y, no z needed. That's awsome, Zamise. I've found the same solution here, and I set the render to no lights so the objetects seems like the same. http://postimage.org/image/h2ncdc9mb/ I would still like to find a way to do that like an extrusion. So I can set the lights normally and play with the form of the trail....

How to make a solid object trail in game engine?

[/img]http://postimage.org/image/y98g8rrhz/[img] Hi, everyone. I tried to make a moving object leave a trail. What I wanted was that trail to be a solid continuous object, like a real-time extrusion following the movement. But the only way I came up was telling the object to continuously add another...

Applying texture nodes

Hello, everyone So I'm getting used to create materials in node editor, and it is really great, gives a lot of freedom to think. And I want to the same with textures. Ok I create a texture, click to use nodes, edit my texture as I want combining inputs, transformations and connect it to an output. B...

Annoying unrelated topics

What about all this topics about superfluous things?

Cant a moderator just delete them? We should just discuss blender here.

Sorry to make another non-blender topic to say this.

Changing the draw method did'nt work. I ran blender from terminal and when it crashed the message "segmentation fault" appeared. But I did not report it as a bug because I can't explain exactly why it happens. It's always when I try to select something, a whole mesh or just a vertex. In object mode ...

Blender 2.62 in Ubuntu - quiting randomly

Hi everyone, In a previous topic I asked about updating blender in Ubuntu. Thats all clear and you can see the solution there. And now I'm working a lot with blender in ubuntu, that feels awsome. The problem is: now when I'm working, blender sometimes decides to quit, without asking anything. It hap...

I'm no pro to this. But the topology seems right. You should refine the shape, thought. When you get to the ears you'll find some problems to match the topologies, it is a tricky part. Enter blender cookie and look there for a awsome tutorial about face modeling, starting from 2 photos, side and fro...
