Yes. I am running the master and slave on a single server. Since the master is the only one using the port, it works just fine. You don't have to worry about splitting ports for Master/Slave. I do not know exactly, but yes, I would concur that it is a path issue. It would be simpler if all machines could use IDENTICAL paths. You are going to have an issue crossing OSs. Windows will be looking for \\server\share or G:\share and linux wil be looking for SMB://server/share or NFS /nfsmount/...
