I've found out that the problem I'm having only works with linked/appended armatures, with that in mind, I had successfully recreated the problem with a new .blend, so I've gone on bug tracker and reported the bug. If you want to see it, it's here: https://projects.blender.org/tracker/index.php?func...

Well, at least I'm not the only one with the problem... I've posted this problem on other forums since this one, and like her, I'm not getting any replies, they just get pushed back to the 2nd page of the forums the next day or so. Is there no solution to this problem? Should I just report it as a b...

I'm having an issue with Bone Constraints

I'm working on some gun animations for a game I'm making, but I've come across a problem with using constraints, mainly with a shotgun. One of the bones on the gun has a "Child Of" constraints, which, as you might've guessed, is for when the player is actually holding it. I have also got an IK const...

Cannot zoom in using scroll wheel in 3D view...

I've downloaded the latest version, and I've discovered some kind of bug... I can't zoom into my models using the scroll wheel, I can zoom out, but not in. It works if I'm looking through a camera or zooming in and out of a picture in image viewer, and scrolling up is recognized with any other progr...

Animating a hand shooting and reloading a gun

I'm making a game, and I'm making the sprites based on Blender models. I've made a gun and (kind of) a hand model, and I want to make the hand shoot the gun and reload it. I'm having troubles making them both move as if the hand was holding the gun, what I mean is, I wanted to move the hand up to re...

Rigging clothes

I'm having a problem with rigging clothes on Blender. Right now, I'm animating a hand with a gun (which I'm also having a problem with, I've made a topic on that). The problems I'm having with clothes are that when I try to move the armature, the clothes either don't band/deform as much as the model...

Question about animating two separate models.

I'm working on a game, and I'm making models on Blender for the sprites, the game is a gallery shooter. For the player, the sprite will involve 1 or 2 hands, and a gun. I have a quick question, say I want to raise the arm while holding the gun, or even just doing a reloading animation, how would I a...

Go to menu File > Link click the .blend from which you wanna link armature + mesh go to Objects and select the mesh object! It will import the armature object as well, and the weightpainting too. If multiple mesh objects are parented to the armature, then select all mesh objects in file dialog. Tha...

Linking a blender model with armature.

I'm trying to link a blender model into another, but this file has an armature, and I can't seem to do import both the model and the armature at the same time, parented and weight painted. The only way I can seem to make the other model move is if I imported both separately and parented them with au...
