What?? No, smartydavid1218, it's still there and so is the new one for the latest release. Just look for the file that begins with "release" and ends with a ".md5" In the future, there may be a ".sha1" or ".sha256", but I don't generate them, so I don't know for sure, just possible. Please chime in ...

Hi! Can someone please put a current MD5 SHA1 and/or SHA256 checksum for the latest release v2.66?

I checked:
http://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.66/
to no avail :(
