Clean3d desscibes accessing the 'Specials' menu in face select mode which has a set light option. what is this for, declaring light for the game engine or defining shadows.

shadow rendering to texture

Is it possible to render shadows to textures for the game engine. I am aware of the b-ray script, however this is not exactly useful for game texture creation. The one I am fimilar with is the 3DSMax render-to-texture which renders shadows to the texture itself. Is there a script/method of achieving...

stitching together vertices along a seam?

How do I stitch together all the vertices along a seam limiting the weld to only the vertices within a distance threshold. My arms are tired from doing this task at each point any suggestions would be appreciated.

win32 pre2.42 test build request

I would like to beg for a test build of 2.42 for windows. I am aware that this may result in an executable which may not run as expected. I merely would appreciate the oppertunity to began understanding the tranisition from 2.41. I am easily a n00b whom has failed to compile the source.
