try this.

just start up blender, scale your cube so that it is HUGE vs your workspace grid, and just press NUM0 and zoom you and rotate around your cube. u will see your cube is half gone..

You set the clipping border in the view panel of the properties tool shelf of the 3D viewport (revealed and hidden by the Nkey). Set the max clipping diestance to a large value, like 10000. nx i can see my object just fine in normal camera mode, when i want to render a image and i use the NUM 0 KEY...

Nothing outside of Clip Start and Clip End will be displayed. That is the meaning of clipping planes. they mark the front and back of the viewing frustrum - all the stuff visible in your scene. You want Clip Start and Clip End to closely bracket your scene. how do i figure out what my correct clipp...

tried that now, still same thing happens? any other idea's? is this a bug ? how else am i suppose to scale objects correctly? if this happens?

I am using version 2.68a and when i scale my object to largely blender does this a soon as i go into camera mode when i wanna get a good angle ready for a render..
