Did you copy blender from an exitsting copy or did you install it freash from the d/l.

I had the same problem when I copyed the files from one comp to another. I just d/l that whole thing again, and it worked.

Maybe if it kept a copy of the current .blend in the same directory called lastedited(nameofblend).blend There is somthing like this, but I'm not sure if it works properly. If you look in the temp dir where the other tmp blend's are there is one call quit.blend thid should be the file that was open...

All the work that you create with blender is yours, you have no need to share the file or obects that you have created and can do any thing you want with the products that you make.

Have fun, blend on.

For even better work form your Nvidia card, you should D/L the detonator drivers.
http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=winxp-2k_40.72

They are still beta, so be warned, but it has done incredable things to what I can do in blender, and games :D

I'm not sure if the drivers for ATI that come with linux support OpenGL.
But I would suggest getting the latest drivers from the net anyways, The more opengl the better! :)

This looks like great stuff :) ... But it is no replacement for a raytracer (faster, but not same qualaty)

When all the development really gets started, you might have to remind people of this
