What did you do to install it? Are you sure the blender executable is in your PATH? What happens when you try to run blender? Sorry about all the questions, but we need to know more

Porting Blender under Mac OS X is fine but it also looks like promoting proprietary software! What about Linux for PowerPC (such as Mandrake's)? Linux!!! :D But, I think *BSD and OS X definetely should be separate, even though the kernels are similar, LOTS of stuff is really different (for example *BSD uses X11 and Mac OS X uses Aqua, although it's possible to run X on X too), and Mac OS X is much more "proprietry" (sp?) then the 3 other BSD...
