actually, search for posts by toloban on blenderartists.org I posted the same thread there. He was previously involved with MH and he has Ideas of how to do it with python. You are right, can't export the rig, but the python could insert it's own rig and shape keys automatically, so says toloban. He...

Is Blender 2.5 ready for MakeHuman New Rig

I just saw that the makehuman team "finished" their new pose engine. It is fantastic, and would be huge if the rig can be exported along with shapes and weight painting etc. to Blender. But I'm not yet sure what microrotation technology is, so I'm a bit worried that we won't be able to export to Ble...

joeri: I found the solution. We must boycott the forum. Yes, post an official boycott terms notice and get a few key blenderheads to boycott blender.org until they fix the forum problem. Sorry for getting a little cynical, but its just pathetic. I mean, it would be better to just go ahead and have a...

having ngons would definately attract people, but the truth is that almost all of them would abandon them if they really learned how to model (calm down). blender's fgons make ngons almost unnecessary, but I think what we really need is for blender to create the f-gons automatically. for example, ta...

Sorry LetterRip, I always forget where I'm at since I go to both places. Maybe we can get the moderator a "move this post to other forum" button with an automatic e-mail sent to the person who posted it.

Renderfarm time was donated to them, but of course they were rendering at movie resolution. you can find out more about the renderfarm on the orange site. The plot...yes the "plot". Well, it just so happens that dreams don't follow tight story lines, but there is a lot of meaning to the story that c...

Well? Who's in charge? Does the vrooom jacket man himself have to approve it? I really think it should be done, and I like the suggestion to put two separate links on the sidebar: Developer forums and User forums. Or we could call it the New Functionality Proposals forum or something.

LetterRip, this is not the developer forum!

LetterRip, this is not a developer forum, according to the title. There are 3 forums, the user forum, the developer forum, and the functionality forum. It is natural to assume that the user forum is to chat, give news and show art, the developer forum is to post progress and share builds and ideas, ...

This is not a developer forum, it is a functionality forum. Breaking glass is a functionality issue in maya sort of, though not in blender, but a newbie might not know that breaking glass isn't a standard blender function.

rendering is not intended to be realtime. If you are making a game, you should be using the game engine which starts by pressing P. you have to have set up all the actors/ gravity/collision etc for anything to happen. But the game engine is the way to get realtime graphics. Regular rendering is slow...

thanks for this, its great. I think more people would use it if more people had quality work that needed a better renderer. I think a lot of us figure we'll worry about the better renderer when we start making art of the quality that needs to be rendered just right.

if you don't like the color you could get the source, change it, and not have to wait for the next release! there are floor constraints which can be used for the animation. also, targeted IK chains can keep things from passing though. Just snap the Empty (IK target) to the floor plane and that's as ...

look at the Wiki page, of course http://mediawiki.blender.org/index.php/Manual/Force_Fields_and_Deflection is says this:, but with pictures Description As well as force objects, any mesh object can be set as a deflector. Particles will then bounce on the surface of the mesh. You can control how much...
