I think that would be awesome! Great idea. Personally blender is my favorite CG program, and having it get popular enough for game makers and the like to use would be great (because I want to be there one day, and use blender as much as possible).
I agree with what you said about the real world axes, but I just thought it would be better that mathematics and CG programs are all the same. It's no biggie though, but for new people using blender that have previously used other CG programs, it might be a bit confusing at first.
I don't know about you guys, but I think the axes in blender are screwed up, in blender, x is lengh, z is height, and y is depth. In most 3d graphics programs, x is lengh, y is height, and z is depth. Shouldn't it be like this in blender too? Is there a reason why it isn't?

DON'T change it. This is actually what I like best about Blender. Sure it looks very complicated when you first see it, but once you get a hang of it, you love it.
Having a newer version of blender for the Ipaq would be GREAT!! Not only the one NaN made was older, but it also didn't work well on my Ipaq 3830. The program was upside down, and only for the display. The touch screen was right side up. VERY strange. This is something that I would really like happe...
