I'm Interested

Actually : I'm trying to get the RIB export working now first to get into
the whole Blender/python thing.

Major undertaking would be to map materials to shaders, and manage
the differences between shader compilers etc. etc.

But, yes, it would be very nice - I'm pro any support of RIB

Same trouble

I'm having similar trouble getting the RIB export from Jan Walter to work

Needs re-writing to the new API - is there any info that maps so we
can figure out what new calls to make?

Good to hear the succes Did you have trouble with the fmod.h include somewhere? If so, how did you work around it? sound like something I should be able to do. The GL headers on OSX are actually <OpenGL/gl.> and <OpenGL/glu.h> mmm, but you would expect some switch to point to the right version? not? I can't imagine going into the code and change this hardwired ;-) (actually I can - but I won't - only when I have to - ok, I admit, done it before) working ...

Readme file

In the readme file under building on os x it says; So you found a readme file - in what directory could I find that? I was hoping for a README (and INSTALL) in the topdirs. Love to join - need more Blender experience

Hi Ton, I'm currently researching the RIB export from Blender - on OSX. Running in to bunch obstacles - I guess the incompatibility between version. (my 2.23.b-01 doesn't know about Scene and currentScene for example - can't build a new 2.25 version on OSX yet) But I do have experience coding python...
