Problem solved you have to make a new uv layer and set it to map input> UV: (Box) (Found it by accident) :)

Ok since this problem is fixed is there a wiki on the new 2.46+ particles/other features? As I could not find one on the new particle system or many of the other features as well.

I do know about all of those :D , but what I was suggesting was a method alternative to spin in which one could see the results of the whole entire object as it being designed, by designing only one section and seeing all other sections being drawn at the same time like with the standard mirror modi...

:!: I downloaded 2.46rc1 and uv unwrap for particles works now, so please disregaurd no. 1. Other stuff for possible integration... 6. shift and ctrl key + scroll wheel up/down should work the same in uv mode and others just as they do in 3d mode (I always use these in there by accident anyway so......
