Right click on the compressed blender file and select "Extract Here" Place the .blender directory into /home/kashmir5309 (or...

Simple solution for those all fired up. Turn around is fair play. Name Blender luxairyoxity on ebay and send then to blender.org for a free download.

cvs documentation

I am hoping to keep an up to date html version of the manual. I have downloaded the cvs to my linux blender directory. How do I convert it to html or how do I view it in docbook? I'm not sure what other options I have. Any help is appreciated.

Downloaded the non-static build and I am now flying with the nvidia drivers thanks to fweeb and basse. I just got the nvidia drivers loaded this week and hadn't thought of the version I was using. konrad_ha: I have been using linux for years and never had a need to upt apt or yum to install it BUT y...

Debian is not the only distro to use apt. Fedora Core uses apt as well. Along with Yum. Same system only different pkgs. Apt for FC uses rpms instead of debian packages. I am going through a problem with blender at the moment that might be related. I have mesa and opengl libs on my box. My glxinfo d...

I have to agree. I spent a fair amount of time (totally humiliated) trying to find the feature since I had never used it.

Documentation Updates

Is there a way of keeping up to date with the manual documentation without downloading the entire manual everytime? I'm on a 26400 baud connect and it would be nice to be able to update the documentation with a tool that updates only the changes. Does such a beast exist?

Great new feel to the site! Congratulations.
Glad to see you are undaunted by the unfortunate crack of your database. Sometimes it is these types of events that compel us to make the changes we need to make. Wish you all success on the project and your fine work.

I don't think it is windows specific. When I choose -w -d and run from a terminal in FC 2/blender 2.35b the terminal window crashes without a print out? I've been slow to download the latest release but will try it today.

Well if Yafray stalls in the process I can understand it, with busy lives as they are, with the coders. Perhaps if the code is situated in such a fashion that others could pick up the loose ends it will be infused with new life. When I consider it, I would say there has been way too much work alread...
