problem with human model and armature : terrible deform

Hi folks I am trying to make a human model to use rvk and animate it. I am planning to use armatures for body and head movements and rvk for face movements. However the head movement with the head bone is terrible. I tried quite a bit to mend it and am at my wits end. Can someone have a peek at the ...

Incorrect deformation of mesh by armature

hi folks I hope I am asking the question in right forum. I made a model of a boy and put armature to it. Now when I try to use the armature to bend the mesh it not only bends but also changes the size of mesh hence deforming it beyond the expected level. I put the model at http://www.skodela.btinter...

Probably not possible but, making a mesh acquire deform of o

Hi Guys Fantastic software! I made a 51 min moive with blender. I am waiting to record the dialogs etc. But now I am on to my next movie. Here I am wondering if the feature I will explain in a sec is available. Imagine you made a human body and armatures etc. Then you animate the body. But at the ti...

edgeloops

I meant as a feature to prevent the ugly craking of mesh. Say suppose you make a tower and then create a few circular edgeloops along the shaft and say three or four vertical egde loops then it should prevent buckling of mesh. That is if I have understood the whole concept of edgelooping properly. I...

Edgeloop in blender

Hi guys

I hope I am posting in the right forum. I have been using blender for some time and infact completed my first movie of 51 min a couple of weeks ago.:P

I was reading about edgelooping. Is there any possibility of this being available in blender in the future!

Thanks

Making a feature length film on the way!

Hi guys I hope I am posting it in the right forum.:!: I have been making a feature length movie [ hopefully on for a DVD / VCD release ] for some time. I put some pictures on the net from the rendering. Those are only the first few scenes. I have advanced further than that but the blend files of lat...

Thanks for the replies fellows. I already have an Nvidia as I mentioned and had no problems with it sofar. I will take your advise and perhaps go for geforce2 or geforce3 with 64 - 128 RAM.
