Yo Frankie - BGE - Code Integration?

Is Yo Frankie a fully Cristalspace game? or is there a BGE version? I am a bit confused because I have seen some posts that say BGE would not be used to Yo Frankie, but then I see some post that say Yo Frankie BGE??? Can someone clarify? Linux is actualy the software of choice from my point of view for Blender. With the right graphics card, and optimization builds you can almost half the Windows render times.

The Big Buck Bunny project environment was Ubuntu if I remember correctly.
