hm, quite funny, my actor falls through the ground every second time the game is started. quite simple setup: just a cube and a plane.

python game api
in 2.25 it was possible to access the Blender.* modules from the game engine. i also noticed that the object returned by LogicBrick.getOwner() is a different one (no functionality) than 2.25 did. is this change a design decision or just a temporarily issue?

the new gui, python and a gui builder
first, i love the new look. i was always a fan of proprietary guis when it comes to applications you work for hours with, especially when it's a graphical app. imagin blender with boring native gui elements, like the mfc. second, there was a note that the python access is to be discussed, so here ar...

Re: Python to make ticking clock?
do you want to do this inside blender or is this a general python question?mikasaari wrote:Hi,
Am I able to create running/ticking clock animation using python ? Couldn't find Text handling API (or there seems to be one but it affects to the TextEdit module).

Re: pixel access patch
i think a two-way conversion tween the blender image data and the BGL.Buffer would be the easiest way. a BGL.Buffer you can draw in python (glDrawPixels) and it is easy to change. and this must already be done inside blender (uv editor), but it is not visible to python

I was in a bookstore yesterday, and i found a linux magazin (which is well known in germany) that did feature the blender2.28a! They had it on their mag-CD and wrote some advertising words about it on the cover. yea, on the cover! And the guy next to me bought this magazine because he thaught (after...
