No, I'd think a much easier way is to use curves to trace out your images then you can extrude them up and lastly convert to mesh. Will Cycles work with two cards, one ati, the other nvidia?

I've got a ubuntu linux box and an ATI 5770 graphics card.

Can I keep the ATI for my display and simply pop in an Nvidia to help with Cycles GPU rendering?? Do multiple cards need to be the same brand/model?

Python API for input devices?

Hi I'm looking to make an input device to work along side the primary mouse(tablet).

Where can I find the python api for this? I need to distinguish between the two devices.

1) see my post on assigning custom properties to meshes. you can do the same for lights or cameras. When you do that the properties will show up in the gui under "custom properties" tab.
