Alright, someone else helped me find the problem. In case anyone else comes across this issue here is the possible solution. Go to the outliner and check whether your mesh has rendering enabled or not (the camera icon should be selected, not grayed out). I had to correct that both for the mesh itsel...

Katsbits md5 exporter, no texture

Hey, so I am trying to use katsbits' md5 exporter for blender 2.63+. It works for giving me the mesh itself and the animations, but it never succeeds in outputting the texture. It doesn't seem to matter whether I have it UV-mapped to an external image, or just assigned a material made within blender...
