Have tried all the "fixes" mentioned in these forums. nothing has worked. I've tried "compatibility mode", turning off Aero, Using vista basic, run as admin, etc, etc, etc... At least in my case (toshiba laptop w/ Intel disp drivers) there are OpenGL bugs in the drivers that no one wants to address....
It'sa not Blender's fault it won't run reliably on this setup. There is an OpenGL bug in the current version of most intel vid drivers on toshiba laptops. And you can't just download the latest and greatest from Intel. Toshiba has it locked out. Unless and until Toshiba/Intel release new video drive...
