Hi You can create a new cylinder by creating a new NMesh Object and placing the vertices/faces as needed. I have a linux cluster with PVM.
I've written a script top distribute rendering, actually it does not care of PVM, but uses rsh to launch separate chunks of an animation on separate machine.

Ok, I know that usually when you propose new features you get the 'code them in yourself' kind of answer. I might try to do it, but, well, I would like to discuss it before. 1 - Remove Doubles.
