hey Phase, can't use use blender sequencer with field output setting to read image/movie file and write it back out in field format instead of premiere? I thought i had done this long ago. Hey JW!! It could be that the sequence editor allows you to convert full frame animations to interlaced ones, ...

If it's really urgent, I would render the animation at 50% of the speed (aka. twice as long, there is a time remap option in Blender) and use a video editing app (like premiere) to speed up the animation 200% and use the 'interleave consecutive frames' option. I know this is not the instant solution...

Re: RGB

...for example if you need some color from illustrator it's kinda boring to sit with calculator and count percents :? Been struggling with the same thing. Currently the fastest method to skip the calculator is to copy the HEX values from the app's color requester and insert them by pressing N in th...

Hey Joeri !

FYI, there's nothing wrong with the imagebrowser. Bugs are caused
by other code concerning imagetype detection and file handling.
I wish someone had a look at it, i always use the imagebrowser !

the memory consumes heavily if I load a Chinese font. this is understable when I add Chinese characters to the scene, but is horrible to wait minutes for quiting Blender and the quit action uses up memory again. Mika has committed a fix for this, characters are now loaded dynamically so it should u...

This build also contains a new method for loading unicode 3d font characters written by Mika Saari.
The 3D characters are now loaded dynamically, this should use less memory than before.

Mika's commit message got lost somewhere, so I post it here.

However, since there are thousands of Chinese Characters, how can I select a certain one in the "unicode table"? Can I use the Chinese Characters Input Application in windows os to input Chinese in Blender? We are well aware that looking for a certain character in the character button is quite anno...

Hmm. You should be able to select the chinese character index with the 'Unicode Table' button. Maybe the fonts you're using have a different character mapping... I dunno. :? Anyway, it should work if you download the Arial Unicode font here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/vietunicode/Aruniupd.ex...

To all interested in this feature, keep an eye on the recent tuhopuu testing builds ! I recently committed some code that will allow you to add unicode characters to 3D text. http://www.captv.nl/rob/uniscreenie.jpg This wouldn't be possible without Mika Saari, who wrote really cool code that fixes t...

Ohno! I wasn't exactly referring to *this* build in particular, but tuho3 in general. My apologies.
FYI, my local tuho3 build crashes on the same thing, nothing wrong at your side.

I hope not but it could be. (yuck)
It's just a little suspicious that it behaved fine until this build. :?

Don't know if you know this bug: When I activate international fonts, change the language then check toolbox I immediately get a crash. Don't know what it's related to. I investigated a bit, this tuho exe crashes in the gettext.dll (getstringwidth). Since it doesn't happen in bf, i suspect somethin...

Is that why it works on my ATI mobility and the BF release doesn't? Hey there Joeri ! Textured charcters might look blurry or not, but it should work in both bf and tuho. Here's my latest bf, with updated FTGL, which works on my laptop with ati9700 card. http://www.captv.nl/rob/blender.zip Hope it ...
