Well what you tell me is enough to help me! I didn't think that you used phpnuke, and now that I know it, I understand! You're probably right, hacking phpbb may be quite tough, and I'll try to integrate either phorum or cyphor which are much smaller and appropriate to hack. Thank's a lot for your an...

PhpBB integration

Hello, I'm doing a website about Globulation, a free software game ( http://ysagoon.com/glob2 ), and I would like to integrate phpbb, such as here at blender.org. You seemed to do a great job to integrate it, you have your own page header, menu and footer with the phpbb stuff in between. Could you p...

Diz, I agree. It is also vital to keep it simple as well. A html table or single column page is simple and anyone who has created a web page has figured this out. I will propose some basic guidlines and I welcome feedback. Or you may propose some quidelines. Look to imitate what is done in the 2.0 ...

I would also find it great if we can set up a few documentation uniformization guide lines. What I would love is: - use docbook (other blender heads already seem to already want to use it for the documentation, but I've no more information on this). - use a uniform keyboard description that can also...

I'm using a lot blender+audio, but not in blender 2.27. This feature doesn't exist in this blender version yet, it's a feature that will probably come out with blender 2.28. For now I'm using instinctive blender that can be downloaded it here (the 1.5Mo file is the window version and the 4.9Mo file ...

It is already possible to toggle the grid. In your current 3d window, select the buttons window (the 1st button of your 3d window, on the left). Then set the gridlines value to 2 or less. Finally, go back to the 3d viewport and admire your scene without the grid! :) But by the way, now that I'm spea...

Hello mthoenes! Did you have a look at my suggestion of doing a blender ressouce gathering web platform that I suggested here: http://www.blender.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=1619 It would be great if we can coordinate ourselves to build up something easy and powerful to u...

[EDITED, I misunderstood the question] There's no automatic hide function of the vertices that are "behind" an object, but there's the "hide" and "reveal" button on the right of the Edit buttons (F9). They hide and... reveal (!) the selected vertices and the edges next to them. You can also use the ...

Re: BlenderBase

There's also another thing which comes into my mind reading this discussion: B@rt's BlenderBase ( http://www.vrotvrot.com/support ) Thank's, you're right to mention this! It may be very useful for me to either work on the current sources (the blender base's source files - phpbrain are happily gpl) ...

Well, there's a link at the top of the page to email in new suggestions, and I haven't not added a suggestion yet :) You mean that you've always added suggestions ;) That's cool! Anyway what I'm saying is that rather than start a new site - if you can manage it and maintain it and if it doesn't cau...

It would be great if there was a central database to textures, lighting set ups, mesh's etc. I would be happy to add all the textures I have made. I have seen a texture database but all the textures were tiny jpegs. That's interesting. But I'm not yet sure if it's useful to gather textures, because...

Yes, I know the blender3d web site and elysiun and they are great. The problem of blender3d is that you cannot submit new stuff, you have to wait that the admins do it if they think it's useful, and that's all right, it's not the aim of blender3d to reference *everything*. The problem of elysiun is ...

Blender Ressource Site

Hello, As I'm browsing around the user ressources for blender, I think that everything is decentralized, there are a lot of dead links, and you never know what script, plug-in or tutorial has been done for which version of blender. The quality of the ressouces are also very different, and often I sa...

Re: 2.27 VERY slow in browse windows..

I don't have such problems... I don't know what I'm doing differently, but for me everything seems to work fine. I have win2k with directx9 and the latest windoz uptates installed... I'll do some more tests on other computers when I'll use them next week.

Yes, I agree that would be the best compromize!
