I am looking forward to using this script, unfortunately it crashes blender if I try to export an object that is in a scene shared with other objects.

If I have only one object in the scene then it exports nicely...

Field Of View has no impact on render speeds. Why?

In a very large scene, one would think that by zooming into an apple in an orchard of trees, you would get a faster render than doing wide shot of the entire orchard of 1000 apples say. But this is not the case at all. Blender seems to want to Parse the entire scene first. All 999 other apples. Even...

iindigo3D. Are you by any chance using Ray Tracing in your scene. With a BIG world? in other words a possible reflection a great distance away from your object? I have noticed Blender's Ray Tracer will hang my OS up completely under these condidtions. Its a pity to have to resort to env maps as they...

I am experiencing problems with constraints in this build. I have a track to constraint set to a lookat target (armature bone) for a characters eyeballs. With this build the eyeballs are now completely out of the head and floating in mid air next to the character. I havent parented the eyeballs to t...

90% of the "hard" part of learning Blender WAS having to memorise the hotkeys.

That's over. Now Blender is easy. Come on, with the new menu system there are no more excuses.

NLA Bug: Ok I have managed to put a file together that demonstrates the NLA bug I have been mentioning. http://www.users.lantic.net/robinm/NLABug.zip Please note: 1) The error occurs on the strip labled "Action". 2) Do a preview render in the 3D window in both this build and the 2.31 official releas...

Is the light DIST slider maxing at 100 a permanent feature? How do we set a dist above 100? If I shift click and type in a value greater than 100 it resets back to 100. How do you change the effective dist beyond this then? I have tried scaling the light and this does draw a longer dist indication i...

Ghost: Thanks for the lead. I downloaded the demos and yes, the motionblender.blend file works fine. However there IS a problem in the NLA. I have a blend file that works with 2.31 official realease and in tuhopuu. I need webspace to post unfortunately. Hos wrote: I think this would be a good time t...

The NLA is still not working.

(The BLENDIN is not working as it should. A 20 frame blendin on an action strip will not register at all and the action will only begin after these 20 frames have passed...)

From an earlier thread: The BLENDIN is not working. If I have a 100 frame action strip with a 20 frame blendin set, the first 20 frames have no activity whatsoever. In other words, the strip only starts at frame 20. The blendin diagonal line does however show up at frame 1 in the NLA window. Any com...

Hi Theeth, thanks for the post. Well that answers that question. Now I wonder why there would be such a difference between 6 and 7. Anyway this is out of my area of expertise so I better keep quiet now. :) BTW, Theeth, your latest build is still smooth man. One thing though, the armature problem has...
