If the speakers have material that is easy converted into slides for other media then it could prove an easy task. But most of the time it's not. Some have some pp slides, others have some files on their disk and internet links, others scribble on a board. What about asking them to provide somethin...

Recording the conference

But seeing how good the Blender Manual has become by the work of volunteers, I have hope that something similar can be done for the conference. I think thats misleading things a bit. The Blender Manual was not made by volunteers. Well, most of the content was, no? Maybe I am not up to date on this,...

So please be careful blaming anybody for not making a proper documentation! It´s associated with such tremendous strain! That is why I wrote "a bit"! But seeing how good the Blender Manual has become by the work of volunteers, I have hope that something similar can be done for the conference. If th...

Recording the conference

Hi, as I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the conference documentation the last times, why not plan this a bit earlier and try to make this really good? After all, it may even be feasible to sell a conference DVD or CD in the e-shop for a few bucks... Anyway, I like the idea of using somethi...

Thanks but this is not what I meant. What I want is for the Plug-in to auto load on the client sides pc. Ok, then take a look at your HTML code again. See the PLUGINSPAGE=... line? At least for me plugin.blender.nl doesn't work (no wonder...). A workaround could be to link to another page offering ...

Re: Installation of the BlenderPlugin

the differences between the BlenderPlugin3D.cab and the BlenderPlugin3D.jar files and how to install both on Linux and Mozilla or Windows and Mozilla or IE6. Well I have just npBlender3DPlugin.so in my mozilla/plugins/ directory here on my Debian machine. Should work when placing it in ~/.mozilla/p...

I have updated the document with a process flowchart that describes the CVS, Documentation Board, Authors and users. Please let me know what you think of it. Ok. I have not yet read the whole document you wrote (wow!). But I looked at the flow chart, and must say that it looks very complete to me. ...

Carsten.
That would be cool. It could shorten the time until the old sample stuff goes online.

Very good question. I asked something similar on elysiun, when the 2.25 version was still for founding members only. Since it is binary only, redistributing the plugin now shouldn't be a problem, but I'd hate to do something Ton (or the foundation, or whoever) dislikes. And after all, it would be ve...

Re: Blender & VRML

Since you guys banned computer games - yes! :D Since it's possible to make games with Blender, I assume you are performing an illegal act just by using it Well this isn't so funny after all. Just because the government couldn't really differentiate between gambling machines and all other "types" of...

Suggestion: sample files, free documentation in download

What would really add to the site's value would be some more downloads. What about the sample archives that came with new releases in the past? And what about the blacksmith file? It is even used for benchmarking 3D cards by some german computer magazines... And the plugin samples, they would aid in...
