I'll second that!
I work in interactive media and use the Blender game engine in several applications for kiosks and classes. We all have a love/hate relationship with the game engine (love it for what it can do/hate it for what it can't), and would be extremely dissapointed if it went away in future versions of Blen...

control UV texture animation/sequence
Is there a way (Python?) to control the way the UV region moves around the texture when animated? So, when you create an animated texture map in the game engine I want to be able to click a button and have the UV region move to its next position. Does this question make sense? I tried posting to the...

It does work, but it isn't very intuitive. In order to create transparency without using a texture map, you will need to add an IPO curve to the object. This is helpful if you want to animate the transparency (or color) over time. Select your object and open the IPO Curve Editor. LMB click on the Co...

mouse click sensor
Hi, I am having issues with the mouse sensor. I have an object set to toggle between visible and invisible when you click on it in the game. So I attached a mouse over and left button sensor to the object. It works... kinda. It seems like the mouse click is being detected way too fast and way too of...

What About X3D?
At the Blender conference, Oliver Schneider of work that had been done with Maya and then imported to Blender for use in the game engine. http://www.blender3d.org/cms/Oliver_Schneider.462.0.html They chose VRML 2 because it kept the animation data. I wonder if x3d--the newest iteration of vrml-- mig...

control UV texture animation
Is there any way to control (step through) the UV positions when the UVs have been set up to animate? I'm looking for a way to click on an image within the game environment and have the UV "square" go to the next place.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Adding 6 Rotation Keyframes for a Camera to an IPO w. Python
Hi folks! I'm working hard on a Python script to export to a cubic QuickTime VR (that I intend to give to the community of course) and I think the best way to do it is to create a six frame animation with the camera pointing up, down, left...etc. I am at the point in my script where I want to automa...
