Is there any progress being made with Project Builder ? Is compiling OS X version better off being done with pbxbuild / Project Builder or plain Ol' command line GCC? How was the original OS X port compiled? Code Warrior, Project Builder or gcc? Those that are working on the OS X build please drop m...

OK being yong at this, what is the first step I should take with compiling for IRIX.
I downloaded the CVS.

Runs good on my IRIX box. 6.5.17.
No issues at All.

OK, make a directory called develop, then untar the source there. now you will have the /develop/blender/source/blah/blah/blah.
Good luck on the OSX port, I will be on it soon myself.

Any progress sofar on IRIX port?
Sofar I got no were. Funky I got further on a Sun Box. I guess Sun is going more GNU friendly.
Even though I lack the skills keep me posted, and I will do the same.
