The reason this wasnt done is because the console supports multi line input where tab is needed for indentation. agree its annoying though.

if zeroinstall is looking for gobject this means youll need pygtk installed on your system, that will install gobject module as a dependency.

You cant use the 'Blender.*' modules in the BGE for anything other then read only data - and it wont be updated for changes from the BGE.

fixed the error for 2.45, however the line of code you mention only executes on an IOError anyway, so the file would fail whatever happens.

from 1 test, with my python decimator, which makes fairly heavy use of lists, sets, exceptions and iterating- about 18% faster. - but it could vary a lot.

Bummer about the multiline toolips not working :/
I havnt got enough time at the moment to work on this. but its would be nice to include at some point.

My tests worked with bitmap fonts, interested to see if that build works with bitmap fonts.
