Well it's slow enough for me in 10.1.5 I'd hate to see how much slower it is in 10.2!!!!!

Maybe it's cause I only have 128mb of ram?

I had the same problem...

I solved it by simply making adding the key.dat file that worked to a zip file. I copied the zip to the other computer and unzipped it... It worked fine :D

Hey... how about htis for an idea?? Instead of just having a bunch of tutorials scattered everywhere... WHy don't we make a site, especially for people wanting to learn blender... As in a sort of on-line course... ??? I think that most of it would be just a matter of organised tutorials that have al...

Binary Download

It sounds like a couple of people are getting very close to compiling blender. I wish I had more time to try, but I've got year 12 exams in less then 3 weeks, and I need a decent version of blender before then so I can get a UNjagged render of my animation for my major project. As soon as people hav...

SWEEET!!! :P

There shouldn't be any reasons why blender won't compile (with this script) on a ppc version of linux as opposed to x86?

Well I've only got 10.15 and I don't have a developers cd, and I can't be bothered downloading the 200 mb developers package :( I've tried to use fink, but it couldn't get it to work because I couldn't work out how to set proxies... Didn't NaN actually have a 2.25 version of blender already released...

Coolness...
It sounds like you'r well on the way.

When you get it so that it compiles properly, you should post the fixed source so that others can compile it for there OS

So did I....

I've being hanging out to get a descent version of blender, and then it turns out that we can't use the source anyway? I think once someone works out how to compile it, they should realease both the binaries and the fixed source that works so other people can compile it for their OS
