What about crafter integration?

there's a long long time wavk gave to the comunity the open source software "crafter".
i think it where question to integrate it to blender to have a nodal system (at less for the textures).

Is there any news about it?
it can be useful too for the other topic about multipass.

but how were made the shaders? because everything is composited in shaders gouraud, phong,... so to make a pass system it will be an obligation to change or make an alternative to these shaders. I only talk about shaders not textures so there's not lot of things to do :-) i think it can be better to...

is there any solution in yafray or the blender renderer to render one object whith more than one material? i mean more than one material for each pixel. the render engine must compute for exemple two material at same time ( the mesh ( hiden faces, normal,...) is computed only once for all the materi...

i think the better solution is to render all passes in one calculation.
Ultimatly it would be nice to render all passes into 1 multi-layered XCF/PSD (Gimp could save as a psd still.)
or the new openEXR picture format of ILM. (in 32 or 16 bit per color)

what about passes?

is there any solution to make multipass rendering?
to separate specular, ambient, bump, glow, ...
or is it forecast???
