I just downloaded 2.37 for windows and installed it. Just using the default cube scene with one light I tried to press F12 to render and the render window comes up but with no image being rendered. ZBlur has been removed temporarily... we are still deciding the best way to give access to it (from the sequencer is preferred, as a post-process, but coding time is too short to make it in time for the release).
