(I already answered this post on the verse-dev list, if you want more on verse join it.) No its not that hard. And i think its going to happen soon. (although Im not the one who are going to make it happen), It easier to add to a new app then an existing one. because when you write a new app you can...

Forgot one very important thing: Obviously getting money, is a huge deal for blenders credibility. Very few project where selected, and EU is notorious for being hard to get threw to, so this really means that what we are doing is the right thing. When ton goes out to talk to companys and ask for sp...

I will try to explain. Yes the EU has given some money but only a fraction of it goes the the foundation. Ton has indicated that most will go to administration, of forums, sites, development, and fund raising, but some will also go to development. But we will have to see. Some things you should know...

Well, to be honest I dont really know. There is a lot of thing one has to consider. No one has ever build a 3d application specifically for a open source community before. So the designs have to be different. Doing things modular is always a good idea. but if that means one or more apps i dont know....

I dont really know what the verse-blender collaboration will bring (but i know it will be great) But i do know some things for sure: - Blender will remain open source. - Blender will be controlled by the community and the foundation. - it will be a stand alone app (if not more then one app!) What it...

Ok its up and it can be found at: http://www.blender.org/modules/verse/ Go grab it. It is still kind of early and there are a few things i want to add. It works ideally witw the Gimp plug-in that Blendrix wrote (it can also be found on the verse site). This application is very useful for show casing...

New Compositor in the works.
Sorry i have been so silent post the blender conference. Sorry about that. I had a great time. and it was really fun to meet you all. I have been working for a few days with a compositor application using verse. I have some debugging left to do but it will be out any day now. About 2 years ago i sta...

Loq Airou, Nil Salentinn, connector released as open source!
Well last year we got blender as open source, this year we wont have that, So Im trying to make it up a bit. I have just released a new version of my modeling app Loq Airou and my color correction app Nil Salentinn as open source. Both have been ported to the new version of verse. I have had limited...

Well it is as good as any place. join the mailing list too. Its hard to know what the issue is, but first lets see what files you are adding, all files starting with v_, verse, vs_ (if the server is what you are trying to build) and the wsock32.lib . Then all you should need to do is to compile! If ...

Well its almost a complete re write. The idea is to have an application where you can see and modify any verse data. It is the ultimate debug tool for verse development. you can do things like create a bit map node, set its name, create layers and then see how the app you are writing reacting. In th...

Well, NGL Seduce and Enough are my own personal libs. and i don't really have too many plans for them. I wrote them because i needed them rather then trying to make something for every one to use. That's why there is very little documentation about them. Having said that yes you are free to use them...
