Make runtime compatible to external compressors?

Hi there, a few month ago, i asked for a possibility to compress the exported runtime (game) with something like UPX (an executable packer). I had a lot of trails but no success. My runtimes are gowing and growing on my harddisk. Maybe is it a quite smart solution to make the runtime more compatible...

some crashes while i´m playing in the nodeeditor, but so far, nice!
the material preview in material-buttons-menu is very very slow, remembers me on older versions. is planned to enable more than 2 threads for rendering, my dual ht is hungry...oh man?!! :wink:

@rcas:

this might be a solution for the Q-KEY to combine a "new" shortcut for quitting blender.
without a real changing it would be nice that the confirm doesn´t start on OK (the pointer)...it´s stupid to hit a/"the" wrong key while i´m in action with blender and very hard to handle right.

...to quit blender and recover last session are two different points in my eyes. it sucks to quit blender unintentional and that´s why i want to request this "feature" here.

hello! it seems that my problem exist since 2.37a and before! i listen to music (winamp) and play an animation (50frames). you can hear a break after each loop of the animation (blender), sounds like vinyl crack :D this break you can see in the waveform of the mp3 snippet. maybe this might be bug fo...

there seem to be a little problem with the sound...
when i play an animation there´s something like a click at the start/endpoint of the animation in my speakers (3d window).
i "disabled game sound" and "muted the mixdown"...no chance

hello!

a few minutes ago is saw a very interesting feature in 3dsmax 8. this feature is in some kind similar to the LCSM:

i don´t know what upx does maybe it didn´t regard the game...
after decompress, the bytesize is the same and it works (the game) as before!
