I agree, it might take some seconds off the rendering code (or even speed up the visualisation in the editing windows), but that would mean rewriting the physics engine. I can't help remembering what happened with 3Dfx: they dominated the 3D graphics card scene for several years, with ATI, S3, Matro...

Blender at FOSDEM 2007 (Brussels)
Hello, Fosdem is one of the larger open source and free software venues in Europe. Their web site has been lost partially, so there isn't much info about it at the moment. I've been to two already, and it seems to me a very good place for Blender to be. FOSDEM is organised at the VUB in Brussels, an...

Good idea. I don't know if there is a chance to have an 'official' DVD from the conference... I don't know what material is available, and how much time it would take to master it for DVD. Some of the sessions on the conference would be great as tutorials for example. The Advanced Animation was pack...

e-shop DVD
Hello, It might be a good idea to have a DVD in the e-shop with the animation of the Blender Art Festival... Some people don't have a DVD writer, and still want to be able to view it on their DVD equipment (like me, unfortunately). I would be willing to cash out 15 EUR for it, for example. If there ...

Definitely
Yes, yes. It was our first time last year we attended, being a bit newbies, but we had a great time.
We would really like to come again this year, just let us know.

Well, as you can see in this thread, there is an open source Zaurus-enabled OpenGL derivative available. That might be the beginning of something beautiful

Klimt might be the answer
Hello, I've bought a Zaurus (Yes, I know, no PocketPC, but still a PDA) and there seems to be something called Klimt, which is a cross-platform software implementation of most of the OpenGL|ES and some parts of the OpenGL standard, totally in software for portable devices... it can be found here : h...

Program
Hello, would it be possible to have more info about which day which discussion is going to be held? I would like to be prepared (kinda look around what is to be found on the specific subjects) when I come along on saturday, but I don't know what will be done on saturday and sunday. Would it be possi...
