I think this is a good idea. However, I don't like the "four view" idea. I think fobsta's view idea is the best, except I would like to see the button box at the bottom. Also, to end the cube-plane arguement, the starting scene origionally had a plane. It turned into a cube sometime after open-source.

Non-relitive universal coordinates

Hi. I would like Blender to be able to have Non-relitive spacial coodinates. Or both relitive and non-relitive. Right now it is impossible to model a real life object, becuase there isn't any units of mesurement, and everything is relitive. I want to be able to set an object at: +5X, +2Y, +1Z and ha...

Axis???

This is really making me mad! I made my own object exporter, and I cannot rotate, scale, or move the object. When I do it is the same as before I did my transformations when I export, it just snaps back. If I want to transform it, I have to go into edit mode! Why? How do I turn it off???

Texture coords?

Hello, I remember hearing somewhere that the texture coords for the VRML format where broken. Is this true? Because I programmed in my own object dumper, and I can't seem to get them to work. I used the VRML code as a reference. Please help. Here is the snippit of code... while(a--) { if(mface->v4) ...

NO NO NO!!!

NO NO NO all! None of this shaded, cool looking, anti-aliased (excuse my spelling) "nice looking" interface! SCREW IT ALLL!!!! I just want blender to work REALLY nicely. Then we can worry about interfaces. But even then I say NO!!!! If you do all this shaded poo and stuff, it is just going to be slo...

Go rest!

Go rest please! That is not a good Idea, and I don't think adding "skins" right now is a good idea either. I say right now we make blender a really powerful rendering/modeling/animation package and screw looks. Anyway, I really like the blender interface the way it is.

layers?

It probably moved it to a different layer. Try pushing m and see what buttun is pushed. Click the number buttons to goto different layers. If you hold shift while pressing the number buttons, it "groups" two or more layers together.

No

I don't know where you can find it. But I am pretty sure it is a memory dump. So reading its contents would be quite difficult. I suggest you just do what ever you want in the source and re-compile.

Dupli verts broken?

When I try to do the tut on making a mace (I don't remember where it is) I make the spikes, then I put down the ico sphere, and parent the spikes to the sphere then do a dupli verts with the sphere. The spikes are all pointing the same direction at this point, just like they should be. Now in the tu...

Blender BSP???

When I am compiling and if I do a file-substring search I see some BSP stuff in blender. Does blender make its own BSP? If so is it in the editor or game engine? In anycase can I access it and use it??? Thanks.

Shadows

Well, no and yes. I kinda mean static shadows. You know on the lamp button there is the group of buttons that are the "Shadow bufsize" I am just wondering if that means blender is already storing the shadows in a "map" and applying the map at render time. If this is so shouldn't I be able to subtrac...
