getMatrix with animation

Hi. Now I have a question again. I'm trying to finish the animation writing. But I have a problem with getMatrix. I'm writing every frame an objects matrix but it appears that every frame the matrix is the same. I wanted to just write the matrix data and thanks to that , make opengl just multi the v...

Re: Everything crashed

Hi, What's the exact problem? The subject hinted to me that at least Blender crashes, but from the content of the post, it doesn't look that way. With a vague description and no examples there's no way for us to even come up with a satisfactory answer to your problem. Give some more information in ...

Everything crashed

Hi. This is a very serious problem. I have a script that writes a model into a file and some matrices so I can apply it to the objects. I was great. But then I scaled the object a little and what happend. My truck model end up with the wheels somewhere away to the right the the missile was too much ...

applying matrix on a vertex.

apply the deformation matrix to the vertice coordinates. Martin Yeah. But can I do that. Just tell me if this works if this is the deform matrix i0 i4 i8 i12 i1 i5 i9 i13 i2 i6 i10 i14 13 i7 i11 i15 so does this work? newx=(x*i0)+(y*i1)+(z*i2)+i3 newy=(x*i4)+(y*i5)+(z*i6)+i7 newz=(x*i8)+(y*i9)+(z*i...

Blender can't do lightmaps as yet--the best it can do is static radiosity vertex-colormaps, which arn't nearly as good and require a large degree of subdivision. Joseph Yeah but how can I use sticky color maps. I can't use sticky vertex colors the same time I want to use uv texture coords. Cause wi...

At least shadows

OK. If no one knows how to do vertex colours what data
whould you use to make shadows vissible.

Cause without those vertex colours I can't see shadows .
And that is not good. Because then I don't see diffference
between an object closer to me and more far away.

I don't see no 3d.

getMatrix bug

HI coders. There is a a bug, at least I think so look selectedObjs=Object.getSelected() ... matrix=SelectedObjs[0].getMatrix() print matrix //[0 ,0 ,0.5, 1] //[2, 0, 3, 0] //[0, 3, 4 ,0] //[0.2,0,1,0] //Ok. Now when I type print matrix[0][1] //output 3.6002081e-008 Now why is the getMatrix doing thi...

You can write anything you like to a file - binary, text, numbers. But Python will often try and convert stuff into text for you. The difference between a binary and non-binary file is only in the way end-of-line is dealt with. On Unix, end-of-line is LF (decimal 10). On Windows, end-of-line is CR ...

Re: writing in binary

How can I write data in binary to a file. Take a look at the 'struct' module. It is part of the regular python installation. Use it to build up strings packed with binary data. Cause I only can use the open function to use a file and that allows me only to write in text mode. Open the file for writ...
