Following on from my last post, I have been using 2.40a for some concept stuff, just using the standard modeling tools, with no real problems. I did notice a draw problem where joining a standared mesh to a subsurfed mesh caused the standard mesh to dissapear until I reentered, then exited edit mode...

Unable to post in the bug tracker
Using the official 2.40 alpha release, I am unable to append a an object written with 2.37a. The 2.37a blend was created only 3 days ago, and is saved on the same drive, but in a seperate folder from the blender program. As soon as I select the blend to append in the file select window, 2.40a crashe...

ps, you should have heard some of the things I have said about it in the past. Anyway. as far as I remember. Forces are not active. dLoc is 90deg out, +X is now +Y. Parenting is screwed. By that I mean, rotation centres on child objects have shifted. The only bounding type that seems to know which w...

Hi lguillaume, thanks for the build again. I have been trying trying to convert to the bullet game engine, and in this build, The first thing I notice is ipos appear to play at 2x in the negative x direction, or 1/2 speed in +x. Also it appears that no forces are active ether on actors or added obje...

hi lguillaume, after a lot of crap with my computer, I was finaly able to start testing again. Im not sure whats happening with the game engine at the moment, as obviously Orange takes precedent. I guess that the coders are trying to enable the use of ordinary surfaces as domains for the fluid simul...

Also each time I restart windows, anther blender icon has reverted to an exe. icon. I have checked the affected ...

I have had similar problems in the past, and the obvious thing to check first is normal direction. After that, experement with different sized poly- gons on the mesh, by subdeviding or even reducing the number of polys in the mesh. After that you might find if you duplicate the mesh, and scale it sl...
