Re: no more compiling error when moving line !

modelAnimator wrote:I move the printf line two lines under, and it works :D
Why :?:
In .C files all variable declarations must be at the beginning of the scope.
In .CPP files variable declarations are allowed on the fly.

Had that on a nvidia gforce 7600 GT with old drivers (win XP).
Updating drivers did it for me.

As the coders in the other thread said already:
There is nothing a blender coder can do to repair a broken OpenGL in the OS.
And disabling double buffering just because Apple released another bug is no option IMHO.
So what is this thread for ?

There seems to be some confusion in which libpng to link with.
The old scons did link with the *_st.lib .. the new one links dynamic.
I found linking static does not crash, linking dynamic crashes.

The live LCSM Update feature has a bug I think. I tried just putting some seems on a cube to unwrap it and try it out. It works a lot of the time. But every now and again when I grab a pin or set of pins it doesn't allow me to move them. If I reselect some other pins sometime and then select the or...

bf-blender windows 2005/11/28 + optimized softbody collision

So for the brave and curious, i'm working on the softbody collision detection code again. This build comes with a far more efficient testing for collision algo. I did measure 10 times faster simulations with 1k vertex mesh colliding with 100 faces mid poly collider. "Raw" windows blender.exe ( vc7 b...

Roy,
besides this is a rather off topic plug to your business activities .. ( /me holds the horses )
I guess GNU-licence would like to see a link to www.blender.org in your e-bay presentation.

Hi lightning just a little VC hickup --> http://projects.blender.org/pipermail/bf-committers/2005-November/012523.html As for MSCV6 projects, elbeem is built with the "intern" workspace. It looks like i'm the only one who check's msvc6 projects and has write access to CVS. So VC6 projects are more l...

_styken sorry, i was quite busy lately so i did not update msvc6 projects. most of the windows builders use msvc7. some of them own a copy of VS.net but i think most of them use the free toolkit and scons to build. most of the times using scons with msvc6 works better than vc6 project files, since a...

Hi Napoleon, looks like you succesfully built a shiny new blender.exe which resides in you 'blah'/blender. It won't run there because it's missing some *.dll's there like sdl.dll and gnu_gettext.dll. Further it'd like to have a .blender folder beside to read some other data. I usually rename that bl...

Napoleon, you're almost there. I don't have the file 'SimdVector3.h' in my tree. But it is only needed to compile the gameengine with the new bullet physics. So you can choose to compile without gameengine in your config.opts file or compile the gameengine with solid for physics. To use the solid en...
