Nevertheless, such a targeted camera (like in LeiGet's image above) is needed in many situations that have nothing to do with animating stuff, but just with pointing the camera wherever you want, without having it tumble. bogdan I think you repeatedly missed the part where Joeri said this is availa...

rubbleman: You seem to miss the point - which in itself explains the necessity of such a forum.... This is not about NOT sharing. On the contrary. It's actually to help people share in a more meaningful manner and attract people who have so far been put off by the immaturity currently found (sometim...

Hi Joeri, I'm all for such a forum and definetly feel the need for it. Your second post summerizes very well what I would expect from such a forum. This would also help culture a centralised professional Blender community from which Blender should benefit considerably. It would be great to be able t...

Do any of you use the timeline window?? It has a a record button which gives quick on and off access to autokeying without the need to access the preferences - plus also gives other usful information/tools while animating. What is still needed is a hotkey to be able to quickly switch record on/off. ...

:!: Sorry, but that's rubbish. You place the panels in a place that is convenient for you and rarely need to move them again. The experienced user simply TABKEYs them in and out to view them/remove them as necessary. If the user doesn't know where to find the tool needed (or better still, the short...

If you use photoshop or gimp you know that it takes lot of time to move all those floating windows to work on a part of the image. Even worse, the fact that you can move /hide the floating window mean that you don't know where it is. and looking for something takes times too. :!: Sorry, but that's ...

I'm sure someone like Ton could do it though - there's a lot of similar code elsewhere in Blender. I'll try and remember to bug him about it when I give him all my other help requests :) ...while you're pestering Ton please don't forget the problem you had with the Caps lock key not working as a re...

The bottom line is, when windows users click on the close button, they are expecting the program to ask to save. As it is, blender is not what they expect and as far as they know they have lost their work. Please don't put words in other peoples mouths. The only 'bottom line' is that YOU are not ev...

It would be really nice if you could enter such calculations straight in to number buttons and then have them evaluated when you press enter. I tried to look in to the code to do this myself but I couldn't work it out :? Like in Macromedia freehand! that is a really practical and useful means of up...

I had contacted the Author of Inkulator and suggested the integration of Inkulator as a renderer in Blender and he replied that he was interested but I never heard anythin...
