Thanks

I appreciate your builds, jms. It's a great way to see if reported (and almost reported!) bugs have really been fixed. Thanks!

The SSE1 build works out-of-the-box on my Athlon XP 2500+ w/ATI Radeon 8500LE. Didn't try the SSE2 (of course) or Non-SSE builds. I didn't have to delete the atioglxx.dll file for it to work, either. Thanks for the builds, mchs3d!

Auetero, you'll need to wait till after Orange is done, so probably this summer for the custom keybindings, unless someone else can get it done before Ton plans to. LetterRip No rush here, I can wait...I just mentioned it because such a feature would totally eliminate threads like these! (Well, not...

It would be sweet if Blender key/mouse bindings were fully customizable--like in a lot video games--and better yet, selectable like "skins". The default key binding could be used as a reference point for tutorials and such. I haven't searched the forums, but I'm guessing this must have been brought ...

Sorry if this is old news, but is creation of Force keys (i.e., strength/falloff) allowed for Empties? I can't seem to create them for empties, but I can for meshes (e.g., by using the I-key in the "physics buttons" window). If they're not implemented yet, then...nevermind :) Nevermind. I found tha...

It would be REALLYsweet to see bjornmose's new softbody collision optimization patch go into the final build--the performance increase is awesome (really!), and hey, time is money! :D

I found my AMD3500-64bit (running in 32bit mode linux) to be 30% overall faster then my 32-Bit-AMD-XP 3200. - Cam Assuming all other relevant system components/conditions are comparable, this is quite an improvement! The reason I've been asking is that I just put together an Athlon 64 system for a ...
