[edit2] johannes, in the latest CVS your fix does not work; compile fails with "Cannot find '-lftgl'" or something like that. ftgl is a library for rendering TrueType fonts in opengl. http://opengl.geek.nz/weblog/archives/cat_ftgl.html http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/henryj/code/index.html#FTGL Wh...

First off, I haven't bothered to read this thread, so this'll probably be very irrelevant. But it's rather hard to do a "Mac vs Pc" comparison, as Macs tend to be rather fixed in their hardware (it does vary, but they very much less than pcs). Also, you seem to have made the all-too-common assumptio...

I'm assuming this build only works on the 64-bit version of Fedora Core 3 ( Linux ), but I've not tried other distros ( as Linux has many )... but maybe someone can inform us otherwise. Rather predjudiced of you to assume it's FC3 only; I built it on gentoo, but it should work fine on all di...

It's always worked fine for me, just have to disable some stuff (which is disabled by default, I just like as many features as possible; dropping international support was painful, as it's AA fonts were quite nice) that doesn't build properly. IIRC, OpenAL was seperate from the game engine in the co...

Tuhopuu3 / Linux-amd64 (2005/02/12)

amd64 optimized - will not run on any other architecture

Wonderfully pretty, fun, and featureful, looking more professional all the time :) Aside from the continuing refresh problem (some things don't show until you perform an action in the 3d view), I've noticed that performing any transform actions numerically (e.g. 'g; z; 2' to move up 2 on the +z axis...

I'm a sort of assistant admin... I go to school there, and know much more about computers than the admin, and help out a lot. I have root on everything, but it's just not a good idea to go around stick random bits of software over the place. He might get annoyed, and he has root too. Email would be ...

Wonderfully cool, and I like the area-not-in-camera-view-darkening, perhaps even slightly dim (but not as dark as everthing else) the outer dotted line? --------------------- I'm having weird problems with the UI (yes, I"m on shitty ATi). It's not just this version, it's all of them. The UI works wo...
