http://web.axelero.hu/ceze1/test2.jpg So, with this one if I remember correctly I could just increase the GI power and the brightness of the lamp reflected on the ball stayed as it is, but the whole room was well lit. Now if I would increase the GI power, it would do nothing. If I would increase th...

GI Power, Motion blur, etc
Hi, Gi power: It used to effect every light, and every GI present, but now it only effects the hemisphere that is around the scene. This makes it impossible to create well lit indoor scenes with only a few dull light sources, which don't create bright specularity on shiny objects. Can we get it back...

Something is not correct in this new module which makes some Linux machines crash. As soon as we've figured out what the exact problem is, I will post new binaries here. Well, I'm doing cvs checkouts every day, and building a new blender every morning on a debian sid with python 2.3.3 installed, an...

Ok, but did you compile ode, quicktime and fmod in? These I can't get working, no matter what I do. Is quicktime even supposed to work on linux? I mean there is no SDK on apple for linux (or I couldn't find one), and even though there are development library packages for quicktime, blender doesn't w...

Ok, I got the gameengine working, however, no ODE, can't compile with it. I also have trouble with fmod and quicktime (is is even possible?), so if someone could help me, I'd be happy (I know this isn't the forum for that, but still :) ) The game demos found on the frontpage are all working for me. ...

bf-blender / linux (2004/04/06) w/ gameengine
Since we are behind compared to the win users :D and I wanted to try out the new AO and the new textures I compiled a build for myself, and I'm sharing it. No game engine, I couldn't get it to work, but working on it, I'll change this post if it compiles. For changes see yesterdays windows topic. ht...
