Version numbers have been skipped in the past also: From 1.76 to 1.8, from 1.8 to 2.0, from 2.04 to 2.10 and from 2.14 to 2.20 are the ones I remember, so why not do it again? I see no problem with it.

This happened to me once. At that time I was playing a cd (music) with Kaffeine. It has never happened when I have no sound, so it's got something to do with sound. Quite annoying for those who like listening to music while blendering. (Blender 2.36, Mandrake 10.1, Alsa 1.0.6 sound driver). Hans Pet...

With the risk of being a fool, isn't this the translucency we already have?

Personally I never missed S-mesh since it was replaced by subsurf, but an extra option never hurt anybody. You never know when you need it, so go ahead!

Just turn off "Doublesided" and make sure the normals are pointing outside. Always worked great for me.

As far as I remember, Blender always saves the file when quitting. It's called quit.blend, but I am not sure where to find it.

Btw, that might be only when quitting through the Q-key...

I think the loop cut should affect hidden faces. Otherwise we will have too many unwanted tiangles. In some cases it might be desirable not to, so the best in my opinion would be to have both options.

According to the email from Ton, the delay was because there was much more work with the design than expected, and then they just took the opportunity to update the text for 2.32 when they had the chance.

So I have to say, I have never been so happy about a delay before! :D

I'm so exited!

Hi all, I just wanted to tellyou all that I am so exited about everything that is happening to Blender at the moment. The new radiosity, modelling tools, new metashapes, raytracing, yafray integration, displacement mapping. Where will it end? I just can't wait to get the manual and to see how much n...
