In that case they are very small-minded which is their problem not ours.

Contrary to 2.34 selection of hidden vertices in shaded mode is no longer possible by default. How can I turn it on? I didn't find a switch in user preferences.

Why so complicated? I'd suggest clicking on a handle selects the handle, clicking on a bone selects the bone.

Feature request: One-click bone select in edit mode

In pose mode it is possible to select a bone by one click. However, in edit mode you have to select the two handles at each end of the bone. This is sometimes troublesome if handles of different bones overlap. How about adding a one-click bone select in edit mode as well?

And since that link appanenrly WASN'T porno (maybe I should check it out. . .ehh, no, perhaps not) there isn't any point in discussing it! It is always wise to check something out before saying something about it. You can easily expose yourself to ridicule if you talk about something you have no id...

I think that there are so many improvements going on these days making Blender better and better. That is true. The coders are doing an excellent job and Blender is developing extremely fast. I'm very grateful for that. Only once in a while I encounter little obstacles in basic functionality which ...

Feature request: Color texture over ramp shader

At the moment the ramp shader paints over color textures. That way it is impossible to create e.g. fancy car paint with an inscription on the car. You can't use ramp shaders to improve a uv textured skin either. The following image shows what I mean. It should read "TEST" on the Monkey's head, but a...

I already tried that. It doesn't produce the desired effect.

Feature request: Colored alpha

At the moment it seems to be impossible to create descent red wine and the like in Blender's internal renderer because at present a material can not be transparent and colored at the same time. With more transparency (alpha closer to zero) the color becomes more an more washed out. I'd like to have ...

That might be true. All I wanted to say is: I could imagine myself playing games on the PDA, but not modelling or texturing a 3D scene. The screen is just too small.

Possibly the game engine would be nice on a PDA.
But anything else would not be very useful on such a small screen.

Statring and ending time of the conference?

Before booking flight and hostel I'd like to know at what time the Blender Conference will start on Friday and when it will end on Sunday. Is it sufficient to arrive on Friday morning and leave on Sunday afternoon or is it better to arrive on Thursday and leave on Monday?

Feature request: Repeat option for blend texture type

It would be nice if the blend texture could be repeated just as it is possible with image textures.

For a more general use it could be an option in the colorband panel (number of repetitions) so that it would be available for all texture types.

Great!

I was eagerly waiting for a new Windows release since the pre-2.34 for MacOSX came out. Now the issues I reported are solved ("use alpha" in image maps, shadow artefacts).

Thanks a lot! :D

I can't test at the moment, but I found one of the latest catalysts had quite a big 2d performance improvement. It was wxp-w2k-catalyst-8-02-040515a-015958c.exe, but there is a newer version out now. I used this one (it's Catalyst 4.6). Last weekend I upgraded to the current Catalyst 4.7 but the de...
